New windows are in!

Filed under: Photos — Molly @ 6:21 pm

Our new windows have been installed.  They look GREAT!  So now, we are taking advantage of our front room being cleared out (for the construction) and  do some serious spring cleaning and paint the interior of the store.    We are aiming for March 1st to be open again, but don’t be surprised if it’s sooner than that.  :)   The website is always open for business – keep an eye out for our new updated website which should be launched soon.

Nally & Millie Reversible Skirts

Filed under: Nally & Millie, Photos — Molly @ 5:06 pm

Nally & Millie skirts are great. The fabric is incredibly soft. They fit so nicely – an easy pull-on style. The top is yoked and looks very slimming. There is a gentle a-line to the cut, so there is not too much fabric. Nally & Millie skirts don’t wrinkle and they all reverse to black so that makes them super versatile for traveling. And last but not least, they are hand washable. Oh, I almost forgot – Nally & Millie clothing is designed and made totally in the USA – Los Angeles for those of you that were wondering. Be sure to check out the t-shirts and sweaters, too.

Fair-trade paper jewelry

Filed under: Art, Fair-trade, Handmade, Jewelry, Photos, Store — Molly @ 3:57 pm

This is very colorful, fair-trade, handmade jewelry from Nairobi, Kenya.  Beads are made from recycled, rolled strips of paper and then used in bracelets, necklaces and earrings.  The fun, lightweight pieces are very affordably priced, while the artists making this jewelry are making 5x the national average wage in Kenya!

You’ll love these wonderfully scented soaps from Provence!  They are triple-milled with all natural ingredients.  Lavender is a perpetual favorite.  Although, I love the new lavender fig…

daisy jane is open in Traverse City!

Filed under: Photos — Molly @ 8:30 am

After many, many requests through the years for a store in Traverse City, we have opened the doors of Daisy Jane.  It is located at 102 S Union Street, near the corner of Front and Union.  Daisy Jane will have it’s own identity, but definitely have the same comfortable feel of Molly’s.  Please stop in for a look.  Hopefully, a Daisy Jane website will be coming soon…
